We realize that some of you may still not have received your copy of the book we are reading.  We are providing a downloadable PDF summary of Chapters 3 and 4 of the book (attached at the bottom of this email). This will aid those of you who do not yet have the book and expect your copy to arrive soon. We have also adapted our class content so you will be able to engage in class discussion whether or not you have been able to complete the readings.

Class 2 on January 20: Assessing Conflict
Pre-Class Assignment: Read & be prepared to discuss Part I: Chapters Three and Four (pages 39-72) in “Spirit and Art of Conflict Transformation.”

Class 4 on February 10: Conflict and Culture
Pre-class assignment: Read and be prepared to discuss Part II: Chapters Eight, Nine and Ten (pages 111-144) and your progress on the Conflict Resolution Plan for your church/ministry.

Assignment: Complete and Submit Conflict Resolution Plan to Rev. Doris K. Dalton at ddalton@nyac.com by February 17.
 
Certificates of Completion and Credits will be issued by March 1, 2022. To earn course credits for Advanced Lay Servants or CEUs for clergy, you must be attend all four classes and complete class assignments.
