Friends,

The work needed to dismantle systemic racism is now more important than ever. With this understanding, 2021 Crossroads Anti-Racism Training will continue virtually this year.

Crossroads aims to create and strengthen structures of accountability to people and communities of color and other socially oppressed groups, both within the institution and in the wider community.

Crossroads Anti-Racism training is FREE* AND MANDATORY for all New York Annual Conference (NYAC) candidates who are in the ordination process - if you are planning to go before the Board of Ordained Ministry (BOOM) this year, this training is required.

Please note the following information, with regard to registration for this event:

Members of the New York Annual Conference must register and pay a $150.00 registration fee to hold their spot.
The New York Annual Conference Commission on Religion & Race (CCORR) covers the cost of the event. *The fee will be refunded after completion of the training. Registrants who cancel within two weeks of the training will forfeit their reimbursement.

For additional information and answers to any questions you may have (including those on hardship funding for this event) please email: Sheila Beckford.
