Missional Community Engagement Forum

Where Have All The Young People Gone?  An Introduction to Our Millenials and Post-Millenials.

How can congregations re-engage with our children, youth and young adults? How can congregations continue to be relevant with people who do not have gray hair? Why are we struggling to connect with the youth and young adults walking past our doors every Sunday? Are these the type of questions you are asking?  Come and meet Dr. Kenda Creasy Dean who has and continues to immerse herself in the practice of connecting with young people, and will offer some some concrete ideas and practices that will allow our congregations to re-engage with populations that are necessary if we are to truly be what, where and who God calls us to be in the 21st century.

Forum on Youth Ministry at Princeton Theological Seminary

The Forum on Youth Ministry is an event for Christian leaders who work with young people.

At the Forum we gather thought leaders, pastors, and scholars together on the campus of Princeton Theological Seminary for 4 days to provide lectures, seminars, and worship that feeds our work in youth ministry, and creates space for ministry leaders to network, rest, and learn.

Join us from April 23rd-26th, 2019 to explore our theme – Movement: Mission, Body, and Justice.

One last exciting piece of information is that this year the Forum will have two special guests; Rachel Held Evans and Audrey Assad! Rachel is a New York Times best-selling author and popular blogger who writes about faith, doubt, and life in the Bible Belt. Audrey is a singer/songwriter who focuses her music around her faith and just released her fifth album, Evergreen, this past year.

If you would like to know more about the Forum you can find more information at https://iymforum.ptsem.edu, or you can email our director, Abigail Visco Rusert at abigail.rusert@ptsem.edu.
