Messy Church Workshop - Jan. 26

Messy Church is a movement that began in the U.K. and is beginning to take off here in the U.S.  It’s a non-traditional, multi-generational worship/learning experience – usually not on a Sunday, and usually for 2-3 hours – that incorporates a Bible story, crafts, music, theme-related activities, and – most of the time – food.   This type of program provides lots of room for creativity.

It’s a great way to invite folks from the community to come to church without the intimidation factor that sometimes goes along with more traditional, Sunday morning worship.

As of this writing, there are 20 spots left for this workshop at the Conference Center.  If you are interested, please register as soon as possible.  Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  If there are no spots left when you register, please contact Carol Merante (cmerante@nyac.com) to be placed on a wait-list.  If you have registered and are unable to attend, please let Carol know as soon as possible so that we may offer your space to someone on the wait-list.
