Happy new year!

At our December 20 CMVT meeting, we spent a significant amount of time reviewing the NYAC Strategic Goals for 2018-2020.  These will be important to you as you consider your requests for funding in 2020. (Yes, it's that time of year again!)

We are asking each ministry group to prayerfully consider their answers to the questions on the Proposed Budget/Expense form for 2020 (attached).  How do your ministry goals align with the Mission/Vision/Core Values and Strategic Goals of the NYAC?  What resources do you anticipate needing to accomplish those goals? Are there other partnerships or resources, other than Conference Benevolences, that you may be able to utilize to help you achieve your goals?

Attached to this email you will find several documents to help you in your discernment process:

• The NYAC Mission/Vision/Core Values statement
• Two versions of the NYAC Strategic Goals - one is a streamlined version, one has been fleshed out with specifics; both are working drafts
• Notes from our December 20, 2018 CMVT meeting
• The Proposed Budget of Expenses for 2020 form, to be completed and returned to Connectional Ministries (cmerante@nyac.com) no later than February 15, 2019.

Once we have received our End-of-Year Conference Benevolences Expense Report, we will forward that to you as well, so that you will have reference point for your 2020 requests.
