Partnership with Yale Divinity School's Ministry Resource Center
“The Ministry Resource Center has loads of items to help enrich children’s ministry. We’ve borrowed books, puzzles, puppets, story Bibles and costumes for our Vacation Bible School and community events at Christmas and Easter. We’ve used DVDs in the Ministry Resource library for adult Bible studies and ideas from the worship resources in creating a Lenten devotional booklet. Carolyn, the director, is very knowledgeable and willing to share ideas and experiences and help with research.”

NYAC Abundant Health Ministry
The New York Conference of the United Methodist Church supports the Abundant Health Initiative of the UMC General Board of Global Ministries. The two main goals of the Abundant Health Initiative are:
- to reach 1,000,000 children around the world with life-saving health interventions
- to encourage 10,000 U.S. United Methodist Churches to join the "10,000 Church Challenge" by creating Health Ministries of Body, Mind, and Spirit in their churches and local communities.
We have created a Face Book group to encourage all churches of the New York Annual Conference to become involved in the Abundant Health Initiative. Here, you will find information, resources, access to the NYAC Abundant Health Team, and information about donating and joining the 10,000 Church Challenge through our conference. We also encourage all NYAC churches who are currently involved in Health Ministries to share their stories, pictures, event information, and healthy recipes here.
