Local Churches – your pastor will be at Annual Conference on
Sunday, June 10th
but worship will happen at your church!

It has been a long time since Annual Conference included a Sunday.  We are expecting all pastors will be attending the worship and ordination at Hofstra on Sunday, June 10th.
And, we expect that all local churches will have worship that Sunday.  Watch for an email from Conference Secretary Margaret Howe and AC Worship Co-Chair Heather Sinclair, coming in the next couple of days.  The email will contain a guide with suggested liturgy, prayers, and hymns for your June 10th service.

From the Mission and Disaster Response Office: The recent tornadoes affected a number of communities within the New York Conference. The Missions/Disaster Response office has reached out to pastors through the District Superintendents and received a number of calls and updates concerning church, parishioner, and local community needs. We have also been in touch with other relief organizations and will be a part of that continuing longer-term  dialogue. If you know of concerns that can be addressed by the NYAC either with Early Response or Emotional and Spiritual Care volunteers, or other forms of assistance please contact Tom Vencuss. Additional information will be posted on the website.
