Epworth is has not run traditional programmed camp since 2004, but is open for your church to hold a summer camp retreat! Enjoy the pool, canoes, and wide open space! Tractor operators Wanted!
Are you a mechanically minded and mostly able-bodied person who would enjoy driving really large mowing equipment 4 to 8 hours, one day a week? Tractor operator volunteers are needed to help mow many acres of lawn at Epworth. Enjoy the views, enjoy the ride, enjoy the community and know you are making a difference every day you mow. Our Horse, Touch
Touch, our rescued horse, is in need of a loving permanent home. He can be ridden only a couple of times a week due to some imposed limitations, but Touch is extremely social and would appreciate a stable mate to keep him company. Adult Summer Learning Intensives
Come experience the beauty of Kingswood, the fun of camping, fellowship with other campers, and perhaps learn a new skill. This summer Kingswood Campsite is offering four Adult Camps: Summer Learning Intensives.
• Come unwind and find God in the quiet nature at Kingswood at the Sabbath at Kingswood camp.
• Learn basic woodworking techniques while you make an Adirondack Chair to take home at our Woodworking Camp.
• Learn the basics of welding at our Welding Camp.
• Become certified as a lifeguard at our Adult Lifeguard Certification Camp.

Woodsmoke Camp for Kids
Where else can you meet new and old friends, commune with nature, eat homemade ice cream, learn a variety of outdoor skills, learn about the surrounding environment, live and work together in a community, and grow spiritually? Two one-week programs for youth

Camp Scholarship Fundraiser on April 18th
A benefit to raise funds for camper scholarships, Thursday, April 18th at 6 pm at Park Avenue United Methodist Church (106 East 86th Street). Our honorees this year are Reverend Leo Curry and the United Methodist City Society. Both parties are being recognized for their relationship with and support of Olmsted Center and its programs. Last year, over 70% of the children attending the Camp Olmsted received some level of financial assistance. Donations from local churches, agencies and individuals help Five Points Mission provide the necessary scholarship support to these campers and allow them the opportunity to attend camp.
